I just want to take this time to tell you how much I appreciate you.

not just the big things- like taking me to the ER when I couldn’t breathe, even though it made you two hours late to work, or insisting on carrying my girly carry-on bag through the airport because you knew it was dragging me down- but even more so, the little things. like spinning me around to the jazz music while we shuffled through disneyland, and how you jumped from the hot tub to the pool with me and wiped away my mascara when it dripped down my face, or spontaneously buying me a chocolate dipped strawberry because I had been raving about them all week, and carrying me from the couch to the bed when I’d fall asleep during a movie. the little things, like rubbing my back as I cough all night and keep you awake, and you coming home for your lunch break and making me dinner even though I told you I would. it’s you being willing to get rid of the kitten you were so excited to get, and running the bath water for me when I could hardly stand up. you’re doing an incredible job at this husband thing, and you are really making me proud. I adore you.
